We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were great, and the location to the center of Lafayette was convenient for exploring the city.

No toilet paper holder. No apologies for key card issue.

I was very disappointed with the customer service skills displayed at Acadiana Lodge. Upon my initial arrivial in the lobby, I was not greeted. I gave my name and the day, and date, of my arrival and check-in/check-out times. I asked the female at the front desk if she would need my booking number as well. I only recall her answering that she had found me. She was going through the check-in process I believe. She just didn't bother to go through it with me. I had no idea what she was doing. She handed me room key cards for my companion and I and gave us directions on how to locate the room on lodge property. I had to ask her if my credit card had been charged, and the amount that had been charged to it. I also had to ask for a receipt. She stated she could print me a copy of it. It then occurred to me that maybe receipts were not offered/given until check-out. I had to ask her if receipts being presented upon check-out was the company policy. She stated it was, but only after I asked. I still think the total charged to the customer's charge card she be told to him, and he should be advised that a bill for the stay would be provided at check-out. That is basic information that should be part of the check-in process!!!! It also turned out that the key cards for the room to which my companion and I had been assigned did not work. I went back to the room a second time and the key cards still didn't work. The front desk clerk asked for the assistance of another hotel employee. That employee couldn't get the key cards to work, and my companion and I were switched to another room. Not once during this entire process did the front desk clerk apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. There was no toilet paper holder in the room bathroom. The front desk clerk did not tell me anything when I checked out of the lodge. She simply took my room key cards whenn I advised her I was checking out at that time.

The continental breakfast had lots of food. The location was adjacent to everything we wanted to do. The staff of Eve went out of their way to make our stay good: D

The hotel is only 1 mile from Acadiana Center for the Arts, and the room served its purpose.

The room was not clean and carpet was filthy. The bath tub had mold and hair in it.

I liked that the rooms were inclosed. Being closed to the parking lot was important to me.

From the hotel floors to the walls. Everything was a mess. It's advertised as newly renovated but what they lack in mentioning is the diginess of the place. There is road construction all around and the parking lot/ landscaping is very poor. There was a pile of pine needles ankle high covering the sidewalk. The "safe" entrance doors, were terrible. The keycard did not work on them and they didn't lock behind you once you got in. The floors were dirty and my friend & I found rose petals in the bathroom, behind the door and under the bath rug. They could've cleaned up a little bit from Valentines Day. Also, there were no plugs. Everything was plugged into an extension cord. I counted six while I was there, in my room alone. The pillows and bedding were both stained and the room smelt of smoke, along with the halways. This is a smoke free facility but they do offer ashtrays be the bedside table, a little contradictory if you ask me. overall it was just a very unpleasant stay & i would not go there ever again, no matter what the "deal" is.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel in Lafayette. I have to mention the great value for money. The prices were reasonable and definitely worth it for what you get. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. They had clearly put effort into making the rooms comfortable and clean. Additionally, the location was very convenient, with easy access to the center of Lafayette. Lastly, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

The hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. Despite being an older establishment, the rooms are well-maintained and clean. I particularly appreciated the efforts made to provide basic amenities and a comfortable stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel is conveniently close to the center of Lafayette, making it easily accessible for exploring the city.

No significant flaws were found, everything was satisfactory.

My ID and card weren't returned after I checked in which made for a problematic day. The staff did not bother to contact me when they realized which is not acceptable. No towels in the room and it took a very long time to receive them when we requested them. The AC unit leaks heavily onto the carpeting making the room smell very musty. Requested a quiet room but was right next to the exit which got slammed shut all night long; doors are all very noisy. Badly in need of a reno or at least fresh linens and fixing the faucets. Hot water took ages to figure out. Looks nearby but not walkable to center of Lafayette. No coffee in the morning. Not at all a comfortable place to stay.
